Paradisiacal beaches, misty rainforests, tropical wildlife, steel drum music and a multiculti (food) culture, that's Trinidad in a nutshell. This Caribbean island, just off the northern coast of Venezuela, unlike many of its neighbors, does not rely on tourists to survive. Nature here is not overrun by mass tourism and island life is still authentic. A fascinating destination for anyone wanting to get away from the beaten track in the Caribbean.

Coverpoint represented Tourism Trinidad Ltd at TRAVel Media days in April in Ghent & Amersfoort. TRAVel Media is the market leader as a publisher for the travel industry throughout Belgium & The Netherlands.
During these B2B networking days which included tourist offices, tour operators, accommodations, airlines, rentals,insurers, airports, and ICT, Coverpoint presented and promoted Trinidad as a destination for Leisure and Business travel.
Both days proved successful as the interest in this ‘new ’destination showed Trinidad is gaining popularity among European travellers.

Tourism Trinidad Limited Roadshow
During 14 - 18 November, Coverpoint RCM facilitated Tourism Trinidad Limited (TTL) during a market exploration tour throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Our CEO Anthony Brand set up meetings for International Promotions Specialist Wendy Lake to visit tour operations, travel agents and other business partners. The business trip, which covered more than 800 km was very successful and generated excitement for promoting destination Trinidad whilst leveraging KLM's Amsterdam to Port of Spain service.

Visit to World Travel Market 2022
Coverpoint RCM will be present at the World Travel Market 2022 in London during 7 - 9 November as part of our continuing relationship with Tourism Trinidad. This is part of CEO's Anthony Brand's preparation to support Tourism Trinidad in a series of market exploration meetings in the Benelux during 14 - 17 November.

African Diaspora Food Expo Brussels
Coverpoint RCM was proud to have successfully exhibited Tobago Gold Chocolate Rum at the 6th Annual African Diaspora Food Expo on Sat Oct 22. hosted by the Food Bridge VZW. Held at Place St. Catherine Brussels. this was the first time that CARIFORUM products were exhibited at the expo which also featured dozens of African Diaspora entrepreneurs from across Belgium. During the day-long event, 75% of available Tobago Gold inventory was sold out. And we were also thrilled to invite Belgium-based Chef Wayne of Jamaica to join our exhibit as part of our support to diaspora entrepreneurs.

Caribbean Culinary Dinner
Coverpoint RCM is a proud sponsor of the Caribbean Culinary Dinner week at the Sofitel Brussels Europe hotel. Together with the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce Europe, we hosted a Caribbean evening with cocktails and dinner. World famous chef Orlando provided the menu in collaboration with the hotel chef and staff.
